Bonzai Takes Over At Forbidden Fruit

On a rather grey afternoon, Bonzai’s performance at the Outcider stage was a real bright spot. Only 20 years old, on this showing, Bonzai clearly understands how to connect with a crowd. She was a bundle of sensuous energy throughout.
Swinging her hips and bright red hair, she danced to the backbone beats of her songs – and the audience moved along in rhythmic harmony. With samples of songs such as 'Get Low' mixed in with unique originals like 'Where Are U Now', Bonzai kept the crowd grooving.
As if more proof of her mastery of stage-craft were needed, she finally leared into the adoring crowd. It was the perfect climax, a triumphant end to what was a sensuous and thrilling set.
