Bob Dylan and The Flaming Lips in double bill
Bob Dylan and the Flaming Lips will perform in a double bill spectacular.
A lovely summer's day in Kilkenny deserves nothing more than a brilliant live performance by two of the greatest musical forces around. The inimitable Bob Dylan revisits the area to headline The Kilkenny Source Festival.
The Flaming Lips - the oh so eloquently titled 'Special Guests' - accompany the folk legend on Saturday, June 24 in Nowlan Park.
Dylan was the first artist to hit the stage at the festival's debut year in 2001 and 2006's return should be nothing short of successful.
Since his first appearance, festival headliners include Paul Simon in 2002, Shania Twain in 2003, James Taylor and Bryan Ferry in 2004, and Rod Stewart in 2005.
Tickets for The Kilkenny Source Festival go on sale on Thursday, March 16 at 9am, for €55.
