Black Stone Cherry announce Irish dates
Tickets will go on sale Friday, December 12 at 10am.
Black Stone Cherry have announced three Irish headline dates for 2026 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album.
The band will perform at The Academy, Dublin, on October 26, at Cyprus Avenue, Cork on October 27, and at Limelight 1, Belfast on October 29.
The Kentucky rock band’s upcoming Irish appearances follow nearly two decades of activity, eight studio albums, and multiple UK Top 20 releases.
Black Stone Cherry’s latest release, the EP Celebrate, was produced by the band and features six original tracks and a cover of Simple Minds’ ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’ featuring Tyler Connolly of Theory of a Deadman.
The material was developed during touring and later refined in early 2025 during writing sessions at guitarist Ben Wells’ home studio.
Discussing the creative approach behind the new songs, the band noted that the EP captures the members’ shared experiences over the past several years.
“Any piece of art is a snapshot of that artist’s life,” singer and guitarist Chris Robertson explained, “these songs are a culmination of everything we've lived since Screamin’ At The Sky.”
Their Irish performances will see Black Stone Cherry returning to Ireland for the first time in 7 years after their last shows in Dublin and Belfast in 2019.
Tickets for Black Stone Cherry’s Irish shows will go on sale Friday, December 12 at 10am.
