Bishop Gunn to make their European debut in Dublin’s Bello Bar
The young Mississippi band are set to make their Dublin appearance on February 24.
Combining Delta blues, rock ‘n’ roll, and Mississippi-flavoured soul, Bishop Gunn are seeking to bring a fresh approach to the classic American rock sound. The four-piece band will travel to Dublin next month on the first stop of their upcoming European tour.
The young group released Natchez, their debut album, in May 2018, working with Grammy Award-winning producers Mark Neill (The Black Keys) and Casey Wasner (Keb’ Mo’). Although titled after their hometown, the album was recorded in the famous Muscle Shoals, Mississippi, where the Rolling Stones, Paul Simon, Lynyrd Skynrd, and Aretha Franklin all made historic recordings.
Following this soulful tradition, Bishop Gunn’s music offers a unique insight into southern life in today's America.
Catch the group on the Bello Bar stage on Sunday, February 24. See Ticketmaster for more information.
