Big Thief announce new album Double Infinity
The record comes out on September 5 via 4AD.
Big Thief have announced the release of their sixth studio album, Double Infinity, for September 5 2025 via 4AD. The band also shared the album opener, ‘Incomprehensible’.
Double Infinity is the follow-up to 2022’s Grammy-nominated album, Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You, recorded last winter at the Power Station, New York City, and was produced, engineered and mixed by longtime Big Thief collaborator Dom Monks.

To celebrate the release of the record, Big Thief will head out on a North American tour this autumn, and will also play their first show in Mexico City. More shows are set to be announced.
Double Infinity will be released digitally and on cassette, CD, and standard black vinyl. Limited green and ‘Sparkle’ vinyl editions will be available via indie retailers and Big Thief / 4AD webstores respectively.
