Berlin's People Club share new single and video
People Club's forthcoming EP is imminent. Catch them in Dublin this week at Workmans.
Berlin-based five-piece People Club are now sharing the title-track of their upcoming EP, Kil Scott, slated for release on November 15th. The track is accompanied by a video animated and directed by Morioh Sonder. They've firmly established themselves in the European indie circuit and will be hitting Dublin this Thursday at Workmans.
As the band explains it, the new song, 'is a soulful, slow-burning number told from her perspective, a predator digging for gold in the pockets of the rich infirm. However, this vulture has a conscience and is tormented by her own cruelty. ' In short, ‘Kil Scott’ is an intimate account of the inner dialogues of a gold-digger, as she waits for her decrepit husband to die."
The EP aims to capture the bands exhilarating live performance the group has come to gain a reputation for.
