Berlin honours David Bowie with memorial plaque
The plaque commemorates the time Bowie spent in the city
His time in Berlin would see him produce some of his greatest music. He recorded his iconic Berlin trilogy of albums Low (1977), "Heroes" (1977) and Lodger (1979).
Heroes would go onto be one of Bowie's signature and has often graced the 'greatest songs of all time' list.
The plaque adorns the wall of the building that once housed Bowie and Iggy Pop and quotes his famous song "We can be heroes, just for one day"
