beabadoobee announces new album Pylon
She also put out the accompanying lead single ‘Sun Has Set’. Check it out below.
beabadoobee has announced the release of her new album Pylon for September 18 via Dirty Hit and Interscope Records.
Today, she also releases the accompanying lead single ‘Sun Has Set’, accompanied by a music video by the singer's partner and longtime visual collaborator Jake Erland.
“A lot of the songs on this record are things I wish I could have said to someone,” the musician says. “This song has this petty tunnel vision—it’s like, I hate you. You’re gonna stay here and listen to how much I hate you. Because I never got to say that.”
Check out ‘Sun Has Set’ below:
Pylon includes contributions from Hayley Williams, Turnstile’s Brendan Yates, Pinegrove’s Evan Stephens Hall, Deftones’ Chino Moreno, and Title Fight’s Shane Moran, as well as production work from Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975.
It marks the follow up to her UK No.1 album This Is How Tomorrow Moves in 2024, and the first release since March’s ‘All I Did Was Dream of You’ featuring The Marías.
Accompanying the release, beabadoobee will embark on a huge tour of North America, the UK and Europe this autumn-winter, with dates in Ireland yet to be announced.
You can pre-order Pylon here.
