Baby Keem announces tour and shares details about new album

Baby Keem has announced a tour and shared details about his upcoming second studio album Ca$ino, set to arrive on February 20. The record will feature Kendrick Lamar, Too $hort, and more.

The American rapper will kick off his international tour on April 15. The Europe and UK leg will start in June, stopping in London, Berlin, Paris, Zurich, and Glasgow.

The announcement was accompanied by the album trailer, which features studio footage alongside home videos and interviews with Keem's family. Interviewees include Lamar, who is Keem’s second cousin. The pair have collaborated over the years on songs like 'Family Ties', 'Range Brothers', and the Grammy-winning, Bon Iver-sampling 'The Hillbillies'.

"I understood the hardship before he was born—just the history of our family in general," Lamar said in the trailer.

"We don’t call ourselves the hillbillies for nothing. This is a story of a warfare environment and a warfare, psychologically, to try and change our generational curses," he added.

The nearly 10-minute video ends with a snippet of an unreleased Ca$ino collaboration with Lamar and Momo Boyd, 'Good Flirts'. The trailer, titled Booman I | Ca$ino Documentary was co-produced by Lamar, Dave Free, and their creative communications company pgLang.

Kim released his debut studio album The Melodic Blue in 2021. Since then, he has shared the song 'Leavemealone' with Fred Again.., Four Tet, and Skrillex. He also performed with Lamar and Brent Faiyaz at Coachella 2022.
