Avi Buffalo
California teenager resembles a younger Evan Dando, minus the rampant drug addiction.
As Evan Dando continues to disappear up his own back passage thanks to his apparently unquenchable thirst for drugs and booze, the music world has been left crying out for a singer to write some new jangly summer-pop songs. Thankfully Long Beach's Avi Buffalo is more than up to the task. His self-titled record is a beautiful piece of work that could make even the most miserable sod crack a smile. Despite only being 18, Buffalo’s song-writing is startlingly mature and songs such as 'Jessica' and 'What's In It For?' mark him out as a future super-star.
