Aslan are regarded by many as the ultimate Dublin band. Well, they now have a chance to prove it, as they have been selected to provide the pre-match entertainment at the All Ireland Semi Final replay on Sunday next.
The news was announced today on the band’s Facebook page.
"We are delighted to announce that, We will be performing in Croke Park before throw-in this Saturday, the band revealed "Make sure you arrive early and bring your singing voices with you. It's gonna be a great day. Up the Dubs. Please share - Cheers The Boyz.”
Fans of the band will be looking forward to the opportunity to see them in action, especially with lead singer Christy Dignam out front. The singer has been battling cancer but he has returned to live action – and is sounding great.
The band recently posted a video of Gavin James performing ‘Chains’ at the ‘A Night For Christy’ gig. It is well worth a look…
