Medical experts advised the band to postpone the trip in the interest of frontman Christy Dignam's health.
Aslan have called off their gigs in Birmingham and Liverpool scheduled for March 13 and 14 due to coronavirus concerns.
Medical experts advised the Dublin band to postpone the performances for a later date when concerns over the virus have eased, due to frontman Christy Dignam's ongoing health issues.
A statement reads: "Due to Christy's compromised immune system and current situation with coronavirus, unfortunately, we will have to reschedule our date in Birmingham March 13 and Liverpool March 14. We have to take Christy's medical teams advice on this and we hope we can reschedule the date very soon."
The band will update fans on the rescheduled shows via social media at a later date.
So far, 85 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the UK and two in Ireland. Health experts advise consistently and thoroughly washing your hands and avoiding contact with your face as a preventative measure.
