Ash to play Downpatrick homecoming gig
Tim Wheeler is thrilled to announce Ash's first hometown gig in ten years
Not content with playing a see-the-whites-of-their-eyes show next week in Dublin's Temple Bar Music Centre, Ash have confirmed a homecoming bash at the Downs Arts Centre on April 26.
"We've been dying to play at home for ages," enthuses Tim Wheeler. "It's been 10 years since we last played a show in Downpatrick. Back then we played in the Arts Centre so we thought, 'Where better this time around?'"
It's also 10 years since the band announced their arrival to the rock 'n' roll world with the Trailer mini-album.
