Arthur's Day - the best bits!
A fantastic night was had by all around the country...
Last night's Arthur's Day festivities saw a host of headliners surprise punters with sets in venues all around the country.
Following performances by Scottish quartet Kassidy, hotly-tipped singer-songwriter Jake Bugg and Dublin trio The Minues, UK legends Primal Scream howled and raged through a greatest hits set at Dublin's Grand Social. They also headed out to Palmerstown, Co. Dublin for a very surprise set in the Silver Granite pub!
Meanwhile, London alt. folk act Mumford & Sons and Scottish singer Amy Macdonald played to a jam-packed Whelan's, while rapper Example and Dublin trio The Original Rudeboys played at Dakota.
Down south, Ellie Goulding took to Crane Lane's stage in Cork, while down the road at the Old Oak, UK dance legend Fatboy Slim surprised fans with a fantastic set.
In Belfast, Professor Green did his thing in Laverys and the Errigle Inn while Texas wowed Limerick, with Sharleen Spiteri and co making the night of those gathered in Smyths.
