Arcade Fire announce second Dublin date due to demand
Tickets for the second date go on sale this Friday.
Arcade Fire have announced a second Dublin date to their highly anticipated world tour – with a gig on Wednesday, August 31, in addition to the previously announced show on Tuesday, August 30.
The band will be joined at their Irish gigs – which kick off The WE Tour – by special guest Feist.
Arcade Fire's new album, WE, which follows 2017’s Everything Now, has been praised as “never predictable and always entertaining” in John Walshe’s album review for Hot Press – with one of its highlights, ‘The Lightning I, II' compared to “the E Street Band on speed, covering Neil Young’s ‘Only Love Can Break Your Heart’.”
The WE Tour will mark the return of the lauded, full production Arcade Fire live experience. Following the Dublin show, the tour brings the Grammy Award-winning band to the UK, and then across continental Europe, before returning to North America for shows in the US and their native Canada.
Arcade Fire have partnered with PLUS1 for the tour, so €1 per ticket goes to KANPE, who bring support to vulnerable communities in Haiti.
Tickets for Arcade Fire's second Dublin show go on sale Friday, May 20, at 9am from Ticketmaster – and are priced from €80.35, including booking fee.
