Bocelli was invited to give a solo performances at Milan's historic Duomo Cathedral. In order to adhere to social distancing rules amid the COVID-19 outbreak, there will be no audience or members of the public at this special Easter performance.
You will be able to watch the live streamed performance on the legendary tenor's YouTube Channel, from the comfort of your own home. The concert will include 'Ave Maria' by Bach/Gounod and Mascagni's 'Sancta Maria'.
Speaking about the performance, Bocelli said: “I believe in the strength of praying together; I believe in the Christian Easter, a universal symbol of rebirth that everyone – whether they are believers or not – truly needs right now," he continued.
