And So I Watch You From Afar announce special 20th anniversary show in Belfast
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 4 at 10 a.m.
And So I Watch You From Afar have announced a special anniversary concert at Ulster Hall, Belfast, to mark 20 years as a band. The show will take place on Friday, December 19, with the group performing alongside the Ulster Orchestra.
The concert will feature music from across the Northern Irish band's two-decade career, performed with a full orchestral arrangement.
The Belfast-based band is composed of guitarists Rory Friers and Niall Kennedy, bassist Ewen Friers, and drummer Chris Wee. They have released nine albums to date, including their most recent LP, Megafauna, which arrived in August 2024.
Speaking about the show, the band said:
"To stand on this stage, surrounded by friends, fans, and the incredible musicians of the Ulster Orchestra, is a privilege beyond words. We’re pulling out every stop to make it one for the ages.
From the first chord we struck in a our drummers bedroom—20 years later, standing shoulder to shoulder with our countries orchestra, still chasing the sound of something bigger than ourselves—this has been the greatest ride. Thank you for being part of it.”
