An audience with the Cope
Ex-Teardrop Explodes frontman turned arch-drude philosopher Julian Cope, graces the faithful with a visit to Vicar Street in April
That archest of drudes, Julian Cope, returns to Dublin on April 11th for a show in Vicar St.
Unlike some of his recent visits, the former Teardrop Explodes man will be bringing his guitar and gem-encrusted back catalogue with him.

To prepare for his Copiness' visit, Hot Press readers are encouraged to locate a copy of Cope's brilliant double autobiography Head-On / Repossessed, which, among other delights, namechecks Hot Press' own Stephen 'Robbo' Robinson.
