Amy Winehouse cancels all live appearances
Amy Winehouse has cancelled her forthcoming gig in Dublin this Saturday, as well as all other live appearances for the forseeable future.
The troubled diva announced the cancellations yesterday after a series of shambolic live appearances left fans demanding refunds.
A statement on her official website read: "In the interests of her health and well-being, Amy has been ordered to take complete rest and deal with her health issues."
Winehouse herself has said she is unable to continue performing while her husband Blake Fielder-Civil is in jail. "I can't give it my all onstage without my Blake. I'm so sorry but I don't want to do the shows half-heartedly; I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it's just not the same," she said.
There are currently no plans to reschedule any of Winehouse's concerts and those who have bought tickets to her RDS gig this Saturday are entitled to a full refund.
