Amanda Shires announces Limerick, Belfast, Dublin and Cork shows
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, February 20.
American singer-songwriter and fiddle-player Amanda Shires has announced a run of Irish shows, set to take place at Limerick's Dolan's on June 3, Belfast's Limelight on June 4, Dublin's Ambassador Theatre on June 5, and Cork's Triskel Arts Centre on June 6.
The Grammy award-winning singer released her debut album Being Brave in 2005, and has since recorded nine records, most recently Nobody’s Girl in 2025.
After moving to Nashville in 2009, she released West Cross Timbers and Sew Your Heart with Wires with alternative country singer Rod Picott. Two years later, she appeared in the film Country Strong as one of the musicians backing singer Kelly Canter, played by Gwyneth Paltrow.
Shires has been a member of several music groups, such as the Texas Playboys, Thrift Store Cowboys, and Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit. In 2019, she founded the country band The Highwomen, alongside Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, and Natalie Hemby.
