Alligator Sky
Bizarrely, the most peculiar thing about 'Alligator Sky', the first single from Owl City's forthcoming second album, is not that it features a totally misplaced rap collaboration, but that it features three totally misplaced rap collaborations. The bedroom synth-popper-turned-global smash created three separate versions of the track, overlooking the cuts featuring Outkast's Big Boi and Bruno Mars cohort BOB and favouring the lethargic verse laid down by relative unknown Shawn Chrystopher. I guess if you're seeing alligators in the sky, you're probably hearing things a little differently, too.
