Alison Moyet announces Dublin and Belfast shows
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 13
Alison Moyet has announced she will play Dublin's 3Arena on November 2 and Belfast's Waterfront Hall on November 3.
The shows come as part of her European tour, where she will be revisiting the songs of Yazoo plus tracks from her solo albums, The Minutes and Other.
"After many years touring the same pool of songs, I am keen for a palate refresher. Specifying which years I will be fishing from too, I think, is a grand way to serve pot luck for specific tastes," said Moyet.
Moyet rose to fame in the early '80s as one half of the duo Yazoo with former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke. The pair went on to have several hits, including 'Only You', 'Don't Go', 'Situation' and 'Nobody's Diary', and recorded two albums, Upstairs at Eric's and You and Me Both, before disbanding in 1983.
As a solo artist, Moyet has released 10 studio albums, with her most recent release being 2024's Key. Released to mark her 40th anniversary as a solo artist, Key features 16 reworked songs and two new tracks, 'Such Small Ale' and 'The Impervious Me'.
Tickets for the Dublin and Belfast shows go on sale Friday, March 13, at 10AM via Ticketmaster.ie
