Bebop fans are in for a huge treat as the ESB Jazz Series returns to Vicar St.

The new season kicks off on March 26th with Ahmad Jamal, the virtuoso whose army of fans included Miles Davis.

"I have always thought that Ahmad Jamal was a great pianist," he opined. "When people say Jamal influenced me a lot, they're right."

Also upcoming at the venue are Buena Vista Social Clubber Cachaito Lopez (April 7th); the Steve Turre Quartet (May 5th); and The Monty Alexander Trio (15th).
