Adorable Love Letter Written by 17-Year-Old Tupac Hits the Auction Block
The letter was written by Shakur in 1988, and refers to the object of his affection as 'Beethoven' and he also talks about their mutual love of Prince and candles.
A heart-wrenchingly cute love letter written by a teenage Tupac Shakur has come to light, and what's more, it's for sale. It can be yours for the tidy sum of $35,000.
Considering a letter that the rapper wrote in prison went for $255,000 last year, this actually isn't as obscene a figure.
The letter was written by Shakur in 1988, and refers to the object of his affection as 'Beethoven' and he also talks about their mutual love of Prince and candles.
"As u will soon find out, I do not spare words, I say what I feel," he wrote. "So if something I say scares u please don't panic because I tend 2 get over emotional. My heart usually leads me 2 fast and that's probably why I always get hurt."
Complete with little drawings of an eye instead of 'I' and his telephone number squeezed in as post script, this a proper teenage romance that has been forever immortalised.
It makes for some good reading too! Who knew Tupac was so soppy...
