Sinead O'Connor duets with Luka Bloom on "Love is A Place I Dream Of", written in honour of Irish social activist Christina Noble
Sinéad O'Connor has recorded a duet with Luka Bloom for his new album, Between The Mountain And The Moon, which is due here on February 1st.
Enthusing about 'Love Is A Place I Dream Of', Bloom says: "Having the opportunity to sing with Sinéad O'Connor was a great joy to me. The song is dedicated to Christina Noble, a great Dublin woman, who has devoted much of her life to giving shelter and love to children who often have nothing."
Recorded in Windmill Lane with Brian Masterson, the collection has already gone on sale in Holland, Germany, Belgium and Australia where the Sydney Morning Herald hailed it as, "An album of glorious songs lovingly smudged with one of the greatest folk music traditions on the planet."
Following sprints round Europe and Australia, Christy Moore's baby brother returns to Ireland in May for an extensive nationwide tour. Needless to say, we'll bring you the details first on hotpress.com!
