A Funny Little Cross to Bear
Alt country wanderer delivers rarities ragbag
Following hot on the heels of last year’s well received Transnormal Skiperoo, A Funny Little Cross To Bear is an odd addition to his canon. While not exactly a full-blown affair, this live album is a collection of “roadside rarities” that White loves to play every now and again. It will probably go down well with fans of his alt-country stylings but for new listeners there’s nothing outstanding on offer, begging the question, “why bother?” A Funny Little Cross To Bear is for completists only.
