A Brush with Dylan
NORN IRON ARTIST William Mulhall is still in orbit after being granted an audience with Bob Dylan before his Nowlan Park show.
Mulhall, whose other rock ‘n’ roll subjects include Led Zeppelin and Bon Jovi, spent the afternoon sketching The Big Zim, and showing him portraits that he’s already completed for his Access All Areas exhibition.
“It was an honour to be able to meet Bob and draw him from life,” Mulhall enthuses. “I got the feel of the man from the way he walks to the colour of his skin.”
