5th Element Drop New Video '2.0'

The rap group 5th Element have premiered their new video '2.0'.

The Ballymun pair of Ger Kellett and Ryan"Linco" Lincoln, teamed up with DG Media for the video. "We thought he could capture the movement and energy we wanted to portray in the visuals for the song," 5th Element told Hot Press.

"He did a brilliant job and the video came out looking crisp and exactly how we intended it to look."

'2.0' is produced by Drum and Bass maestro DoubleScreen. The hip-hop duo have been collaborating with the Dublin producer on a tonne of new material. 5th Element released their first official single 'Faces' from the project, in February 2015.

"We have a bit more left to do before the album is fully done and ready to be released, but we intend to drop plenty of material during 2016," they said enthusiastically.

"It's a totally new sound we are going for but the production DoubleScreen is bringing to the songs has us enjoying every line we are writing."

Fingers crossed for more outstanding releases from 5th Element this year.
