Taking place on November 23 in the Hilton Hotel New York, the Mother of All Adventures is up against Belgium's Flying Doctors, South Africa's MasterChef and Barones de la Cerveza, an Argentine show that involves copious amounts of beer drinking.
The septuagenerian adventure series has been bought by broadcasters in over 100 territories, making it Sky's most successful factual entertainment show to date.
The Season 2 finale, in which the mother and son team battle the elements in a disaster simulator and visit a Japanese mafia gambling den, airs tonight at 9pm on Sky 1.
