"Everything's sorted now"
They're playing. No they're not. Yes they are: The Charlatans back on the bill for Slane
In a rather bizarre turnaround, The Charlatans have announced that they will be playing at Slane 2002.
This comes just two weeks after an official band communiqué which read: "The Charlatans are not confirmed for Slane. Please do not buy tickets for the event under the impression that we are."
According to a well-placed source, "There was basically a breakdown in communications between MCD, the band and their agent. Everything's sorted now and the lads are looking forward to giving Stereophonics a run for their money in August."
