The all-new Jeep Compass: "Electrified performance, real-world versatility and genuine freedom"
Special Feature: The all-new Jeep Compass is available now at Jeep dealers nationwide
Slane Castle has hosted U2, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna and the Rolling Stones over the years. In May, another icon made its debut as Jeep unveiled the all-new Compass against the estate’s storied backdrop.
A vehicle made for people who hold the rock and roll tenets of independence, capability and the freedom to choose how they move, the launch lands as Jeep celebrates its 85th anniversary.
“The all-new Jeep Compass represents exactly where the brand is heading in Ireland,” said John Saunders, Managing Director at Jeep Ireland.
“It brings together electrified performance, real-world versatility and genuine freedom of choice for customers at a time when many are deciding to start their electric journey. Launching it at Slane Castle feels entirely appropriate. It is a place defined by history, character and unforgettable moments, which mirrors what Jeep stands for. A vehicle equally suited to commuting as it is to weekend adventures.”

The spacious and comfortable Compass - available in a number of hybrid and electric models - makes life easy behind the wheel, thanks to a rotary gearbox selector, electronic parking brake button and rubberised Selec-Terrain switch within easy reach; cycling through Auto, Sport, Snow, Sand/Mud and, on the e-Hybrid, Electric modes. Even the front-wheel-drive versions can hold their own off-road, with 200mm ground clearance, a 20-degree approach angle, 26-degree departure angle and 470mm wading depth. Selec-Terrain comes standard across the range.
Level 2 autonomous driving is now standard, paired with state-of-the-art Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control that reads speed limits, bends and roundabouts and adjusts pace on its own, plus a Semi-automated Lane Change function that safely assists the driver into their chosen lane between 70 and 180 km/h.
Six colours round out the range, from the green Hawaii launch shade to Pacific blue, Antarctica white, Amazonia with green with brown hues, Yosemite grey and Vulcano black.
• The all-new Jeep Compass is available now at Jeep dealers nationwide, with hybrid and electric versions starting from €42,995 RRP. For more information visit jeep.com
