Minding Creative Minds to offer a slew of can't-miss events for Irish creatives next month
From workshops to meet-and-greets, Minding Creative Minds work tirelessly to give the Irish creative sector an outlet for promoting wellbeing and career advice all around the country. Check out their slate of events for November below.
Irish creatives will have a lot to avail of this November with several Minding Creative Minds (MCM) events slated for the coming weeks, from their monthly workshops to sessions promoting wellbeing. All events are free of charge and take place virtually, requiring participants to register in advance.
On 6 November, MCM will host an online Career Clinic with support from the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA). The one-hour workshop will provide upcoming creatives with a positive, comprehensive resource working to empower artists to accomplish their aspiration in Ireland or as an Irish creative abroad. Bookings are essential, which you can do here.
On 20 November, creatives are invited to join MCM via zoom for the ‘Selling or Licensing your Creative Work’ workshop with Ian Shipley, who has mentored creatives for years on the business and project management aspects of Art, Music, Publishing and TV & film in collaboration with Minding Creative Minds. Attendees can expect sage advice from Shipley, who will offer an all-encompassing session about selling or licensing creative work that involves transferring certain rights to an artist’s intellectual property in exchange for compensation. See here to secure your booking.
Finally, on 27 November, artists are invited to join ‘Aligning With Flow’, a bespoke offering that works to “illuminate each participant's authentic creative voice”. Employing creative development techniques, participants will be encouraged to gain an awareness of self-limiting obstacles, beliefs and blocks. Through “systemic constellations”, participants will experience how unconscious beliefs can hold back creatives from their ultimate potential. Space is limited, so be sure to book as soon as possible via this link.
