Kaleidoscope invites family fun and balanced living
Meditate, break a sweat and have fun with Kaleidoscope’s sports and wellness programme
Music and arts festival Kaleidoscope will return 26-28 June at Russborough in Blessington, Co. Wicklow, bringing fun for the whole family and balanced living with its sports and wellness programme.
The weekend-long festival will feature an exciting line-up, including headline acts The Divine Comedy and Basement Jaxx. There will be plenty of opportunities for attendees of all ages to get moving, from mobile ziplining to wall climbing to zorbing.
Saturday and Sunday morning will kick off with a warm-up session on the Front Lawn preceding a 3k run. The GoGym team will offer several high energy workouts. For a more leisurely way to get moving, hire a bike from the festival for a family cycle along the nearby Greenway.
Kaleidoscope’s investment in wellness goes beyond workouts to relaxing the mind with on-site morning meditation, Tai-Chi and even laughter yoga. To stimulate your brain, make music at a drumming workshops or one of the Lalala Choir’s drop-in singing workshops.
For family sports, head to the Sports Field for school yard favourites like the three-legged race and the egg and spoon race or hone your skills at rugby and Gaelic coaching sessions.
