Jason Biggs Opens Up About Battle With Booze & Prescription Drugs
American Pie actor Jason Biggs has revealed that he's celebrating his first year of sobriety.
Jason Biggs explained that it's been a long and winding road to get to this victory. “I first tried to get sober over 5 years ago, when the weight of my obsession with booze and drugs became too heavy for me to handle,” the 40-year-old actor admitted.
“Turns out this shit is hard. After some fits and starts, I’ve managed to put together one year of sobriety. I’m as proud of it as anything in my life."
Jason Biggs revealed all when sharing a photo on Instagram of his his AA silver recovery anniversary medallion given out to those commemorating one year of sobriety.
"If you’re struggling, know there’s help. Don’t be ashamed. We can do this," he says.
Jason Biggs' wife Jenny Mollen posted online a photographer of herself being kissed by him with the caption: “So proud of my husband today. Congrats baby. I know how hard you work. I see you. I love you. Thank you for your fight. 🍣🍣🍣🍣 (the sushi is us btw)"
