“Fenty Beauty by Rihanna”, new make up line for all beauty lovers
When a fan asked Rihanna at the Puma event in L.A. on April 18 what highlighter she was wearing, the singer responded with, "It's mine. It's a secret until September."
Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty line has been in the works for years now. According to the Bad Gal’s Instagram account, Fenty Beauty will arrive on September 8 and the line will be available at Sephora and the U.K. department store Harvey Nichols in addition to the Fenty Beauty Web site.
The makeup line includes some of her signature beauty looks, like bright lip colours, shimmering highlighters, bronze eye shadows and lipsticks in dark berry shades .
For Rihanna, "Fenty Beauty by Rihanna" is not her first creative journey into the beauty world. The singer has already cooperated several times with MAC Cosmetics. The first product she created was RiRi Woo, a lipstick inspired by MAC's classic red Ruby Woo, which was sold out within a few hours.
According to David Suliteanu, CEO of Kendo division of LVMH, which also produces Marc Jacobs Beauty and Kat Von D Cosmetics, “Fenty Beauty by Rihanna” is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience.
