Having worked in the family drinks business which his grandfather started back in 1924, Gareth Downey developed a passion for Irish whiskey and its rich heritage. A proud Dubliner, he ultimately decided to set up a small whiskey tourism business: the Dublin Whiskey Experience. As part of these tasting tours, Gareth brings you on a unique journey around Dublin, taking in old distilleries, historic pubs and some lesser known venues. They also offer special private tours and corporate events, for an unforgettable whiskey tasting experience.
