Barcelona announces new kit designed in collaboration with the Rolling Stones
The Catalan team announced news of the partnership with the Rolling Stones earlier today, unveiling the new kit has been designed with help of the band.
Barcelona FC have just announced the launch of a new special edition kit in partnership with rock 'n' roll legends The Rolling Stones. The iconic mouth and tongue Rolling Stones logo will take the place of Spotify logo on the maroon and blue stripped kits.
In a post on X today, Barcelona FC announced the special edition collaboration:
DONE DEAL! 🤘💥

The special edition kit is announced just before the release Rolling Stones' first album of original material in over 18 years, Hackney Diamonds. The new album is set for release tomorrow Friday the 20th.
On the football club website the team said that that by putting the logo on the FC Barcelona kit, they were "putting the band that has played the iconic stages of the world on the global stage of El Clásico for the first time".
This isn’t the first time that FC Barcelona have collaborated with an artist after their partnership with the streaming platform was struck up in March 2022. Last year, the team released a special edition kit dedicated to Drake- celebrating the rapper becoming the first artist to reach 50 billion streams on Spotify.

Rolling Stones have said of the collaboration: "We’re huge football fans and honoured that Spotify have brought our Tongue & Lips logo to grace the FC Barcelona shirt."
The new special edition kits are available for preorder here.
The tongue and lips logo will feature on the jersey for the Barça v Real Madrid game on 28 October at the Estadi Lluis and the front of the women’s jersey for the Liga F game against Sevilla on 5 November at Estadi Johan Cruyff.
