Workman's announces Barbie-themed Pink Party
The Workman's Club has announced a Barbie-themed party next Friday.
Dublin venue The Workman's Club has announced an event celebrating the cultural phenomenon of Barbie this summer.
The summer blockbuster directed by Greta Gerwig starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling (out today, July 21st) and its soundtrack, produced by Mark Ronson, have captivated the pop culture consciousness for months.
"Gather your fellow Barbies and Kens and glam yourself up in your finest pink attire as we prepare for the campest club extravaganza of the year – Kens, kens, kens across the board," the event announcement reads.

Next Friday it will be pink from wall to wall for the "Barbie megamix." Come prepared to hear songs from the soundtrack plus other "throwback nostalgia and pop perfection from One Direction to Nicki Minaj, High School Musical to Barbie."
The event will run until 2:30am, leaving plenty of time to catch the film in the afternoon and stop for a cheeky Strawberry Daiquiri or Cosmopolitan to keep the pink party going.
Tickets are €8.50, but those with a birthday between July 18 and August 9 get free entry with valid ID.
