WATCH: Warner Bros. release One Battle After Another teaser starring Leonardo DiCaprio

Warner Bros. have released a teaser trailer for Paul Thomas Anderson's upcoming film, One Battle After Another.

Leonardo DiCaprio stars as an ex-revolutionary whose daughter, played by Regina Hall, is kidnapped. The film is reportedly inspired by Thomas Pychon's novel Vineland.

The cast also includes Teyana Taylor, Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro and Alana Haim .

One Battle After Another is Anderson's latest film since his 2021 comedy-drama Licorice Pizza, and continues a history of collaboration with Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood as composer.

The film is rumoured to be the director's most expensive project to date, with estimates placing the budget between $100 million and $140 million (€92.2 million and €129.2 million).

Anderson debuted in 1996 with his crime drama Hard Eight, starring John C. Reilly, Samuel L. Jackson and Gwyneth Paltrow. Since then, his films have continued to feature prominent actors, including Daniel Day-Lewis, Tom Cruise, Adam Sandler, Joaquin Phoenix, and more.

One Battle After Another is set for theatrical release on September 26.
