Watch: Netflix shares first trailer for Mötley Crüe biopic
The upcoming film, set to be released on Netflix on March 22, stars Machine Gun Kelly as Tommy Lee.
The first trailer for The Dirt, based on Mötley Crüe's best-selling collaborative autobiography, The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band, has been released by Netflix.
The film, set to be released on the streaming service on March 22, is directed by Jeff Tremaine, known for his work with the Jackass franchise. The Dirt stars Machine Gun Kelly (aka Colson Baker) as frontman Tommy Lee, and features Douglas Booth as Nikki Sixx, Daniel Webber as Vince Neil, and Iwan Rheon as Mick Mars. Tony Cavalero is also set to appear as Ozzy Osbourne in the film.
The Dirt's soundtrack, set to be released on the same day as the film's Netflix's premiere, will feature 14 Mötley Crüe tracks, as well as four new songs.
