The Den to return to Irish screens after ten years
The children's programme first aired over 30 years ago.
Ray D'Arcy has revealed that The Den is set to return to our screens on November 1 – 10 years after the iconic children's programme was axed.
Taking to Twitter, D'Arcy, who hosted The Den from 1990 to 1998, announced that the programme is set to return "33 years after Zig and Zag came into our lives."
He went on to note that The Den will air on the first Sunday in November at 6.30pm on RTÉ One.

RTÉ Radio 1 have also confirmed the news – sharing a clip of The Den's Zig and Zag to celebrate.

RTÉ, meanwhile, have described the announcement as "the best news of 2020."
