RTÉ will air Sally Rooney's Normal People later this month
Airing will begin on April 28th.
The Element Pictures adaptation of Sally Rooney's astonishing debut novel will air in 12 parts beginning late this month.
Kildare native Paul Mescal will star in his first TV role as Connell, alongside British actress Daisy Edgar Jones as Marianne. Also starring in the drama is Sarah Greene and Aislín McGuckin. Rooney adapted the screenplay herself, with the help of Alice Birch and playwright Mark O'Rowe.
Oscar-nominee Mark Abrahamson and Hettie McDonald directed the series, which filmed in Sligo, Dublin, Sweden and Italy. Watch the trailer below.
