Release date for upcoming Barry Keoghan film Bird announced

MUBI have announced that the Barry Keoghan-starring Bird will be hitting cinemas in the UK and Ireland on November 8, 2024.

Starring alongside Keoghan is Gotham-Award nominee Franz Rogowski, as well as Nykiya Adams and Jason Bud. The film is also set to feature some more Irish representation in the form of Bronagh Gallagher as well as Fontaines D.C guitarist Carlos O'Connell.
"12-year-old Bailey lives with her single dad Bug and brother Hunter in a squat in North Kent," reads the movie's logline. "Bug doesn’t have much time for his kids and Bailey who is approaching puberty seeks attention and adventure elsewhere."
