PinkPantheress releases supernatural themed mini-documentary
The short YouTube documentary shines a light on enigmatic TikToker PinkPantheress.
English singer-songwriter PinkPantheress has teamed up with Spotify Radar to release a supernatural-infused mini-documentary.
With Halloween just around the corner, the nine-minute documentary leans into the spooky season. Footage of a chat/interview between PinkPantheress and her friends (set in an appropriately eerie medieval dining hall) alternates with clips of the friends on a ghost hunting tour.
The short documentary is a rare glimpse into the artist's personal life. Notoriously enigmatic, the act only recently revealed her face, while her real name is still a mystery. During the conversation, the 20-year-old discusses her recent success; receiving a DM from one of her childhood idols and why she kept her musical ambitions hidden from her friends.
PinkPantheress first garnered attention on TikTok earlier this year, where short clips showcasing her songs racked up millions of views. The singer's first mixtape To Hell with It, released on October 15th, was met with critical acclaim. Produced by Parlophone and Elektra Records, the EP draws heavy inspiration from the early 2000s, with hints of liquid drum and bass, garage, and dance on display.
