North Circular director's new documentary on Antoni O'Breskey to premiere in Dublin this month
Tickets for the screening of Luke McManus' latest production are available now.
The Lighthouse Cinema will hold an exclusive screening of the new documentary film The Piano Nomad on June 21.
The Piano Nomad celebrates 50 years of music from pianist Antoni O’Breskey, an Italian-born composer and pianist of Argentine heritage who has made Ireland his home for the past five decades.
The documentary features contributions from composer Cormac McCarthy, journalist Siobhan Ling, author Fintan Vallaley, musician Paatho Cummins and more.
The film is directed by Luke McManus, who was behind the award-winning documentary musical North Circular, a black-and-white documentary which explores the history, music, and streetscapes of Dublin's iconic North Circular Road.
The screening of The Piano Nomad will be followed by a special musical appearance from Antoni O'Breskey, along with piper Joe McHugh, hammer dulcimer player Barry Carroll and O’Breskey’s daughter, Consuelo Nerea Breschi.
The event, collectively titled I Nomadi: Celebrating Irish-Italian Film & Music, will also feature shorts from Cara Holmes, Luca Truffarelli & Alex Sapienza as part of the Stoneybatter Festival 2026.
Tickets for the screening of The Piano Nomad can be reserved here.
