New Trailer for THE BRIDE! starring Jessie Buckley released

THE BRIDE!, which stars Jessie Buckley, who recently won the Best Actress award at the Golden Globes for her role in Hamnet, is set to premiere in cinemas on March 6.

Also starring are the Academy Award winner Christian Bale, Oscar winner Penélope Cruz, Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening and Jake Gyllenhaal.

THE BRIDE! is described as a bold, iconoclastic take on one of the world's most compelling stories, showcasing a lonely Frankenstein who travels to 1930s Chicago to ask Dr Euphronious to create him a companion. However, what ensues is beyond what either of them imagined.

Directed by Academy Award-nominated Maggie Gyllenhaal, THE BRIDE! is said to explore murder, possession, a wild and radical cultural movement, as well as the story of outlaw lovers in a wild and combustible romance.
