He has received critical acclaim for his work, including three British Academy Television Awards and a Royal Television Society Television Award. In his most recent BBC documentary, The Settlers, Theroux met with the growing community of Israeli religious-nationalist settlers, as well as Palestinian people whose lives have been impacted by settlers moving into their communities.
The documentary, directed Adrian Choa and executive produced by Louis Theroux, Aloke Devichand, and Arron Fellows for Mindhouse Productions, features Theroux's journey to Miami, New York, and Marbella. He engages with a central group of content creators and influencers from the manosphere.
