Lady Gaga to join cast of Wednesday, which is filming in Ireland
The American singer-songwriter and actress will join Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones in the second season of Netflix’s hit show.
Lady Gaga will star in season two of Netflix comedy-horror Wednesday. The show follows the adventures of the Addams family teenager. It has been in production at Ashford Studios in Co. Wicklow since earlier this year.
Although details surrounding Gaga’s role are limited for now, The Hollywood Reporter said: "Lady Gaga has a tangential connection to Wednesday already: A remix of her song Bloody Mary overlaid on Wednesday's (Jenna Ortega) season one dance scene went viral on TikTok and other social platforms after the show's 2022 premiere."
Alongside Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Lady Gaga will be joined by guest stars Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, and Thandiwe Newton for the new season.
Gaga was most recently on the big screen alongside Joaquin Phoenix in the Joker sequel Joker: Folie à Deux, as well as on October’s Hot Press cover.
