Kate Bush hit 'Running Up That Hill' tops charts thanks to Stranger Things
The iconic track has now gone to #10 in today’s Irish charts.
The Kate Bush hit 'Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)' has climbed its way up the charts, 37 years after its original release.
The leading single from Bush’s fifth album Hounds of Love features heavily in the fourth season of Netflix’s Stranger Things.
The timeless track has since gone viral across social media platforms including Instagram & TikTok, with the song sound-tracking more than 350,000 video creations on TikTok.
It has also reached number one in the Irish Spotify Chart, the Global Viral Top 50, the Irish Shazam Chart, and the Irish ITunes Chart.
The song was also featured in the pilot episode of the 2018 drama series Pose.
Today, it sits pretty at number ten in the Irish charts, which is incredibly impressive considering the song was released in 1985.
Season 4 of Stranger Things is available to watch on Netflix now and has received glowing reviews since its initial release last week.
