Jeanne du Barry starring Johnny Depp and Maïwenn will be released in Irish cinemas next year – watch the trailer below.
Jeanne du Barry from Why Not Productions and IN.2 Films, will make its way to Irish audiences in April 2024 with distribution partners Wildcard Distribution.
The period drama follows Jeanne Vaubernier, played by French actress and filmmaker Maïwenn, a woman born into poverty who uses her intellect and charms to climb the social ladder, rising to the opulent court of King Louis XV of France, who is played by Johnny Depp.

Jeanne du Barry inaugurated the 2023 Cannes Film Festival and achieved great success across Europe, with record-breaking cinema attendance in France, CIS, and Italy.
